Job summary

GE Healthcare is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain modality models across the assigned area and perform complex system troubleshooting. You will communicate status to end-users and managers, support sales efforts, and contribute to growth in the geographic region.

The role requires an engineering degree or solid field experience, electro-mechanical expertise, and strong problem-solving. English proficiency is essential for training and communication in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electromechanics or Biomedical Engineering Technology or solid Field Service Engineer experience.
• Experience in electromedicine or imaging in healthcare.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities and systematic approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all models specific to a modality in the assigned area.
• Perform total system level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems.
• Communicate clearly with end-users and department managers on equipment status; maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assist in Account Sales visits, help train others where necessary, and identify Sales opportunities and communicate them to account team.
• Assist in the growth and direction of business in geographic area.
• Responsible for Warranty and PMS contract cost control.
• Complete all administration tasks on time (e.g., FMI’s and PMS inspections documentation).
• Play a leading role in complex and multifunctional rooms.
• Share best practices.
• Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001.
