Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Head of Risk to lead a proactive risk function for a growing fintech with crypto and traditional payments. You will establish risk governance, partner with CEO and leadership, and drive regulatory readiness across European markets.

Based in Spain with remote-first flexibility, you will oversee enterprise, operational, financial, and regulatory risk while balancing innovation and compliance."

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in risk management within financial services or fintech.
• 3–4 years in a senior risk leadership position such as Head of Risk or CRO.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an enterprise risk framework and risk governance structures.
• Lead regulatory risk initiatives including DORA, MiCA, PSD2 considerations.
• Oversee risk reporting to CEO, leadership, and board committees.
• Design risk onboarding for partners and manage counterparty risk exposure.
• Collaborate with finance, product and compliance to integrate risk into strategy.
