Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Compliance Officer with a regulatory focus on cryptoassets, based in Spain, for a remote-first role supporting a partner company. You will shape regulatory frameworks across MiCA, UK FCA, TFR/Travel Rule, and ICT risk, with direct interaction with regulators and senior compliance leadership.

You will develop policies, risk assessments, governance documentation, and regulatory submissions, ensuring regulatory readiness and operational resilience for cryptoasset services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in regulatory compliance, including cryptoasset licensing and governance.
• Hands-on experience with cryptoasset authorization frameworks (MiCA/CASP, UK FCA or equivalent).
• Proven ability to draft regulatory documents with regulator feedback transparency.
• Knowledge of TFR and Travel Rule in cryptoasset transfers.
• Understanding of DORA, AMLD, FATF standards and related governance.
• Strong English writing and regulatory communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage FCA cryptoasset regulatory application processes, information requests, and pre-authorization activities.
• Lead post-authorization implementation of MiCA CASP license, ensuring compliance with national authorities.
• Develop and maintain regulatory policies, governance docs, and risk assessments.
• Design regulatory framework for TFR and Travel Rule and related information handling.
• Establish blockchain analytics control frameworks and collaborate with ICT/ops teams.
• Coordinate with ICT on DORA documentation and cryptoasset risk requirements.
• Draft regulatory submissions, policies, risk assessments, and responses to inquiries.
• Monitor legislative developments and translate requirements into practical compliance frameworks.
