Symrise AG in Barcelona invites a Senior Manager to lead the enterprise-wide Data & AI Steward community, shaping governance and responsible AI practices across the organization. You will drive engagement, foster collaboration, and guide the data culture in a global, hybrid setting.

The role focuses on governance, literacy, and cross-functional partnership, facilitating workshops and events while advancing data-driven decision making across business domains.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, data management, analytics, or AI.
• Experience leading communities, programs, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Understanding of data governance principles and AI-related topics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
• Strong facilitation, organizational, and change management skills.
• Passion for data-driven culture and responsible AI adoption.
• Fluent English skills; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the enterprise-wide Data & AI Steward community.
• Drive engagement initiatives and promote collaboration across business domains.
• Establish and maintain governance standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align governance initiatives with strategic priorities.
• Promote data governance principles and responsible AI practices.
• Support data and AI literacy, democratization, and community adoption efforts.
• Facilitate workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and community activities.
• Monitor governance maturity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Act as an advocate for stewardship and data culture initiatives across Symrise.
