Job summary

Symrise is seeking a strategic Head of Data & AI Platform in Barcelona to drive an enterprise-wide Data & AI ecosystem. The role focuses on building scalable, product-minded data & AI platforms that enable AI-driven decision making and innovation across the organization.

You will lead platform engineering, governance, and security while collaborating with senior stakeholders to accelerate digital transformation and deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in enterprise data platforms or AI platforms.
Strong background in cloud-based data architectures and platform engineering.
Experience designing and scaling enterprise platforms with a platform-as-a-product mindset.
Deep understanding of data, analytics, AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead the evolution of a platform-as-a-product model for data and AI.
Drive GenAI and agentic AI adoption with scalable, secure governance.
Partner with senior leadership to align technology with business objectives.
Influence global teams to deliver enterprise-wide data & AI solutions.
