Job summary

Syngenta in Madrid seeks a Head Corporate Data & Analytics to own the Corporate Function Enterprise Data Hub within the Databricks Data Mesh. You will lead analytics, ML/AI solutions and the migration of legacy data products into the mesh.

You will build and mentor a multidisciplinary team of data analysts, data engineers, ML engineers and AI engineers, partnering with Corporate Functions, GSS and IT to translate priorities into scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, data science, engineering or related field.
• Deep knowledge of data architecture, engineering, analytics and ML/AI life cycle.
• Experience with Databricks, data mesh concepts and governance.
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, roadmap and performance of the Corporate Function Enterprise Data Hub.
• Own end-to-end delivery and lifecycle of Corporate Function data products.
• Deliver analytics, ML/AI solutions addressing priority outcomes.
• Migrate legacy data products into Databricks Data Mesh.
• Build and coach a multidisciplinary data team.
• Partner with leadership to prioritise demand and secure adoption.
• Ensure data products comply with governance, security and privacy.
• Communicate delivery performance and realised value to stakeholders.
