Job summary

Sompo International is seeking a Head of Claims, Iberia to build and run the Spanish and Portuguese Claims Department from Madrid or Barcelona. Reporting to the Country Head Insurance Iberia and the Head of Claims Continental Europe, you will drive a scalable, efficient claims function and deliver high customer satisfaction and profitable claims experience.

• Experience in managing Iberian claims teams.
• Strong technical claims expertise across lines.
• Proven ability to deliver high customer satisfaction.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Spanish and Portuguese claims teams.
• Negotiate settlements and establish reserves.
• Monitor KPIs and manage outsourced providers.
• Provide MI data and reporting to senior management.
• Develop Sompo’s Iberia claims function.
