Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group seeks a senior in-house Head of Legal Iberia to guide the legal function across Spain and Portugal. You will partner with senior management, oversee compliance and data protection, and manage external counsel for complex disputes and regulatory matters.

We are looking for a proactive leader with deep knowledge of commercial contracts, public procurement, and corporate governance, able to balance business needs with regulatory risk in a fast-paced mobility group.

Qualifications

• Law degree and bar admission required.
• Master's degree in Business/EU Law or MBA strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR / RGPD and LOPDGDD; Spanish and Portuguese law experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary trusted legal adviser to Iberian senior management and all operational departments.
• Design and maintain a robust compliance programme for Iberian perimeter, aligned with Group standards.
• Manage civil, criminal, administrative, and regulatory proceedings involving Europcar and Goldcar in Iberia.
• Provide legal advice on material contracts including fleet acquisition, concession contracts, and public procurement.
