Job summary

The Hoxton Poblenou in Barcelona is seeking a Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first face guests see, delivering warm, responsive service that makes every stay feel special and personal.

Fluency in Spanish and English is required, with Catalan valued. Experience in hotels is a plus, but we will train the right person. Expect a supportive, vibrant team, development opportunities, shift meals, and occasional team events.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English; knowledge of Catalan is highly valued.
• Previous hotel front desk experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• You're the first face guests see, making them feel welcome and their stay special.
• Deal with the coming and going of guests, ensuring bills are correct and clear.
• Work with all hotel teams to stay busy and assist the Front Office Manager with occupancy levels.
• Answer phones, handle requests, and recommend shows and dining options in the area.
