Indra Group, a leading space technology company, is seeking a Ground Segment & SATCOM Software System Engineer in Spain. You will decompose requirements, define architectures, and drive integration across distributed SATCOM systems.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, apply ECSS processes, use DOORS, MBSE, Capella and UML, and contribute to ground segment software for national and international projects.

Formación

• Experience in ground stations or ground segment environments.
• Strong background in systems engineering and software integration.
• Experience defining requirements, interfaces, use cases, and test requirements.
• Knowledge of M&C, NMS, TT&C, planning systems or simulators.

We are looking for a Ground Segment & SATCOM Software System Engineer with experience in ground stations, SATCOM systems, ground segment software, systems engineering, and integration activities to join projects focused on the specification, functional architecture definition, and integration of ground segment and SATCOM communication software solutions.

What will you do?

• Decompose system requirements and define functional architectures, operational modes, and system workflows.
• Coordinate M&C, NMS, planning tools, simulators, and support systems within the ground segment environment.
• Define and prepare use cases, interfaces, ICDs, and verification requirements.
• Support software integration and validation activities across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in SATCOM and ground segment developments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in ground stations, SATCOM systems, or ground segment environments.
• Strong background in systems engineering, software specification, and integration.
• Experience defining requirements, interfaces, use cases, and test requirements.
• Knowledge of M&C, NMS, TT&C, planning systems, simulators, or distributed software systems.
• Experience applying ECSS processes and using systems engineering tools and methodologies such as DOORS, MBSE, Capella, and UML for requirements management, architecture definition, and system modelling.
• English level B2 or higher, both written and spoken.
