Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Vendor Program Strategy Director to partner with the Clinical Operational Program Head and peers to define and drive end-to-end vendor strategy across the clinical lifecycle. The role covers start-up, recruitment, maintenance and closeout in compliance with GCP, ICH, SOPs and regulations.

The successful candidate will lead program-level supplier activities, manage vendor performance, and align strategies with Alliance leads, ERMT and procurement while ensuring proactive risk

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience with leadership in clinical operations and outsourced trial activities
• Experience developing and managing external and internal strategic relationships
• Strong understanding of clinical development, quality, regulatory standards and vendor processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to bridge scientific and business teams

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accountability for all supplier activities at a program level across the GDD Portfolio
• Manages a program view of supplier performance relative to the defined strategy
• Defines and aligns program strategies with Alliance Lead, ERMT, PID and Procurement
• Drives local vendor service delivery discussions with country representatives to address gaps
• Engages with protocol development and feasibility to identify vendors to support future programs/trials
• Enables early engagement with suppliers during protocol development and feasibility
• Accountable for program-level productivity and for meeting defined objectives
• Proactively manages supplier risk, quality and contract issues at the program level
