Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a highly experienced Vendor Program Strategy Director to act as a business partner for all vendor activities. The role leads end-to-end vendor strategy across the clinical study lifecycle, coordinating with COPH, PID, ERMT and Procurement to ensure GCP, ICH and SOP compliance.

The successful candidate will orchestrate supplier performance, drive strategic partnerships, and oversee risk management at the program level, enabling successful trials globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in clinical operations leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing outsourced trial activities at an operational and strategic level.
• Executive leadership in developing and managing external and internal strategic relationships.
• Strong understanding of trial management, GCP, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills enabling international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accountability for supplier activities at the program level across GDD Portfolio.
• Manages a program view of supplier performance relative to the defined strategy.
• Defines and aligns program strategies with Alliance Lead, ERMT, PID and Procurement.
• Reviews geographic scope of global vendors and drives local vendor service delivery discussions with country representatives.
• Engages with COPH role to understand portfolio demand and future trials and pushes information to Vendor organization.
• Engages with Vendor Alliance Lead to identify, qualify, and contract vendors for future Programs/Trials.
• Accountable for vendor program level productivity relative to defined strategy and targets.
• Serves as single point of contact for Trial Vendor Management Team at the program level.
