Job summary

Glovo Group in Barcelona is seeking an analytics‑driven Operations leader to oversee high‑performing teams across city markets. You will analyze operational data, define priorities, and drive great customer experiences by improving delivery times, rider efficiency, and cost performance.

You will partner with General Managers and Heads of Operations, deploy scalable operating models, and collaborate with global teams to roll out new tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-paced environments such as operations, consulting, logistics, marketplace ops or similar fast-moving companies.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams; coaching, motivating and building a culture of ownership and collaboration.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business or related field; MBA a strong plus with operational experience in on-demand or last-mile delivery.
• Strong analytical capability and data-driven decision-making; comfortable with dashboards, pivot tables, and data-informed decisions.
• Experience in KPI creation & tracking, team delegation, and aligning stakeholders to company goals.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational data obsessively to identify trends, root causes, and priorities for better customer experience.
• Translate insights into action plans that improve delivery time, rider efficiency, and cost performance.
• Hire, manage and develop a high-performing Operations team with ownership and growth mindset.
• Own end-to-end operational performance metrics, courier balance, delivery experience, and partner operations.
• Standardise scalable operating models across cities for seasonality, growth, and shifts.
• Collaborate with General Managers and Heads of Operations as strategic partners.
• Work with global operations and cross-functional teams to deploy new tools, processes, and product launches.
• Establish strong relationships with courier communities and third-party fleet partners.
