Job summary

BD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional projects in an international setting. You will coordinate Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Legal, and Operations to ensure milestones and business-critical changes are delivered on time.

The role combines a strong project leadership focus (about 60%) with Continuous Improvement and Business Excellence activities (about 40%).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in complex international organizations.
• Experience in regulated or complex industries (Pharma/MedTech/Medical Devices desirable).
• PMP certification is desirable; knowledge of risk management and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead business, operational, and integration projects, managing approximately 4 to 5 projects simultaneously from initial planning through execution and project closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders, including Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Legal, and Operations, establishing clear responsibilities, timelines, priorities, and expectations.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, proactively monitoring milestones, dependencies, risks, scope changes, and potential delays, and implementing corrective actions when required.
• Lead projects with significant operational and commercial impact, ensuring that regulatory, product, process, and organizational changes are implemented on time and do not negatively affect the ability to commercialize products.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Business Excellence initiatives, including Kaizen workshops and structured problem-solving activities, ensuring that agreed action plans are implemented and their effectiveness is monitored.
• Monitor and communicate project performance using appropriate project management tools and methodologies, providing stakeholders with clear visibility of progress, risks, decisions, and results, while capturing lessons learned at project closure.
