Job summary

Bayer AG is seeking a Distribution Management Senior Expert to oversee end-to-end transportation, from suppliers to customers, ensuring GDP/GxP compliance and cost efficiency. The role collaborates with CMOs, 4PL/3PL providers, and internal teams to optimize routes and schedules within a regulated OTC/FMCG and pharmaceutical environment.

The position focuses on intercompany order management, export documentation, and transport coordination on a global scale, with opportunities to drive process

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany delivery orders within Sales and Distribution (SD) processes.
• Coordinate goods receipt with CMOs and create orders as needed.
• Plan and coordinate primary distribution for customers and trigger urgent deliveries.
• Manage the order-to-invoice cycle to meet performance metrics and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate export documentation and required paperwork (invoices, packing lists, origin documents, DG documentation).
• Support customs-related activities for GDP compliance and trade.
• Proactively optimize transport activities and address risks to service levels.
• Contribute to design and implementation of new logistics setups and routings.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and sustainability efforts.
