Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Director of Payroll & Workforce Management Technology to lead the strategy and execution of global payroll and workforce platforms. The role covers UKG Workforce Manager, ADP Payroll, and Workday integrations across a manufacturing organisation.

You will guide a worldwide IT team, drive system improvements, ensure compliance, and partner with HR, Payroll, and Operations to meet complex requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Payroll, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management in complex enterprises.
• Strong leadership across applications, architecture, delivery, and operations.
• Hands-on with UKG Workforce Manager and ADP Payroll.
• Knowledge of integrations across HCM, timekeeping, payroll, ERP, and reporting ecosystems.
• Ability to manage large-scale change and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Workforce Management.
• Lead IT for payroll and workforce platforms globally.
• Develop and inspire a global IT team across delivery, support, architecture, and operations.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and transformations (Workday, UKG, ADP, ERP).
• Ensure compliant, scalable payroll and time data operations for hourly and salaried employees.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Ops, and vendors to meet manufacturing needs.
• Establish governance, service management, controls, and risk practices.
• Drive automation and reporting improvements.
