Thunes is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support the Legal & Compliance function in building a world-class regulatory framework for our global payments business.

You will assist the Vice Presidents Legal, General Counsel and Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and the wider function in providing legal advice to the business, advising on risks, and supporting all aspects of regulated payment services.

Formación

• Qualified solicitor, ideally England & Wales
• Proven experience negotiating and drafting contracts
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance for payments
• Experience across commercial, corporate, payments and IP matters

Responsabilidades

• Serve as integral member of Thunes’ Legal team, liaising with multiple departments.
• Provide legally sound guidance and maintain a culture of excellence across functions.
• Support commercial contracting, product development, payments, sales and marketing.
• Lead on substantive legal issues including regulatory, privacy, and corporate matters.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on compliance implications.
• Support M&A activities including negotiation, due diligence and closing.
• Balance internal and external legal resources effectively.
