Zusammenfassung

Thunes Ltd. is seeking a Financial Risk, Financial Controls, and Safeguarding Manager to lead global 2LoD governance for financial risk, internal controls, and safeguarding across regulated entities.

You will report to the Global Head of Risk / CRO and collaborate with Group Finance and Treasury to manage liquidity, FX, credit, and counterparty risk while ensuring regulatory safeguarding compliance.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in Financial Risk, Treasury Risk, or Risk Management within fintech, cross-border payments, or neobanking industries.
• Deep understanding of global safeguarding rules (UK FCA, EU PSD2/PSD3, Singapore MAS, and others).
• Experience in a 2LoD framework with collaboration and challenge to 1LoD Finance/Treasury.
• Strong treasury operations knowledge: liquidity modeling, hedging, bank reconciliations, capital adequacy.
• International/regional experience across EU, UK, EMEA, APAC, Americas.

Aufgaben

• Establish, maintain, and enhance the global financial risk management framework (2LoD).
• Oversee safeguarding obligations across major regulatory jurisdictions; independent testing and fund segregation accuracy.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and partner with 1LoD to embed a robust control culture.
• Provide independent challenge on Group Treasury activities including liquidity stress testing and hedging strategies.
• Monitor regulatory landscapes and align Thunes' policies across regions.
