Job summary

Deel is seeking an experienced Operations leader to manage day-to-day workflows and identify efficiency improvements across a fast-paced environment. You will drive automation initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance and risk management while tracking key performance metrics.

With strong problem-solving, SQL familiarity, and a bias for action, you will help scale operations globally and support go-to-market initiatives by removing bottlenecks and guiding strategic

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations in a fast-paced environment (Tech/FinTech start-up a plus).
• Mentor small to mid-sized teams and drive performance through KPIs.
• Strong problem-solving with a solutions mindset.
• Experience with process automation and operational tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day workflows and identify efficiency improvements.
• Support automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve speed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline tools and processes for internal teams and customers.
• Ensure adherence to controls, compliance, and risk management.
• Contribute to fraud prevention and regulatory alignment efforts.
• Monitor performance metrics and elevate risks to leadership.
• Drive customer-focused process improvements to shorten turnaround times.
• Expand self-service options to reduce reliance on manual support.
• Implement feedback loops to inform continuous improvement.
• Coordinate readiness for new product or market launches with stakeholders.
• Assist with go-to-market initiatives by removing bottlenecks.
• Track and report operational outcomes with insights to leadership.
• Execute projects and strategic initiatives with senior leaders.
