Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Madrid seeks a Project Worker Advisor to join the Global Operations team. You will lead all aspects of the international assignment process, ensuring policy compliance and timely mobilization of employees to customer project sites.

The role requires experience in Global Mobility, preferably in field assignments, and strong ability to coordinate with project teams and stakeholders across cultures. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of work experience including managing employee relationships.
Strong knowledge of international assignment management, immigration, tax, and employment laws.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with people from different cultures and nationalities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple tasks and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develop talent mobility strategies and programs to support business growth.
Select and prepare employees for international assignments.
Manage relocation of employees, families, and possessions (visa coordination, housing, etc.).
Design and administer expatriate policies and reward packages (compensation, housing allowances, tax equalization).
Monitor government policies impacting operations and employee safety.
