Job summary

Autodesk in Barcelona seeks a Senior Manager, Labor Relations Lead to provide global labor relations guidance, partnering with People Experience, Legal, and regional teams to manage Works Councils, collective bargaining, and employee representation.

You will shape scalable labor relations frameworks, advise on organizational change, risk, and enable managers through playbooks and governance, across AMER, EMEA, APAC.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in labor relations or related HR functions within global organizations.
• Strong understanding of collective consultation and employee representation processes.
• Proven ability to engage with unions and works councils on complex matters.
• Ability to advise on sensitive workplace issues with sound judgment and discretion.
• Experience partnering with Legal and HR to manage labor-related risk.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level labor relations guidance to People Experience partners, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders on complex labor matters.
• Lead collective consultation and employee representative processes, including Works Council engagement and union interactions.
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with Works Councils, unions, and other employee representative bodies.
• Advise on labor relations implications of organizational change, workforce planning, restructuring, policy implementation, and business transformation initiatives.
• Assess and inform labor relations complexity to inform location strategy and workforce planning decisions.
• Partner with Legal, People teams to assess labor risk and develop compliant approaches.
• Prepare materials for consultation processes, leadership briefings, and governance forums.
• Monitor labor relations developments and translate insights into proactive planning.
• Develop scalable labor relations frameworks, end-to-end processes, and AI-enabled knowledge base.
