Job summary
Ramboll GCC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Power Systems team. You will work on HV cable routing, design, and installation for offshore wind and energy transition projects across Europe, including review of documents, site visits, and testing.
Fluent English is required; Dutch/German are a plus. The role offers international collaboration, a strong development path, and flexible working arrangements.
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering.
- +2 years’ experience in underground HV cable system route design and installation (66kV–400kV).
- Experience with Cymcap or other cable rating software.
- Proficiency in English; Dutch or German are a plus for local clients.
- Experience with international and local cable standards.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing project documents, gap analysis, and preparing technical reports.
- Client and third party management (civil, substation, crossing, etc).
- Cable rating and thermal calculations.
- Underground cable routing development and installation strategy.
- Site visits and testing during installation and commissioning.
- Prepare inspection and test plans and handle non-conformities during manufacturing and installation.
