Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (HV Cable Design) to join our Transmission & Distribution team in Barcelona. You will design HV cable systems for onshore and offshore projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support FEED and detail design through construction.

- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Master's in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in HVAC/HVDC transmission cable systems
- Experience in onshore and offshore cable design
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Responsabilidades
- Design HVAC/HVDC cable systems for onshore and offshore projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cables into substations and grid networks
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost analyses for cable projects
- Lead FEED and detail design for transmission cable systems
- Coordinate with civil and environmental teams to meet consenting requirements
- Troubleshoot cable-related issues during installation and operation
- Stay updated on HV cable materials, insulation, and transmission technologies
