Job summary

Alexion is seeking an Associate Director of Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research to lead strategic HEOR development for global product launch and reimbursement across multiple indications. The role partners with Global Value, Access & Pricing, Medical, R&D, Regulatory and Commercial to embed HEOR into development plans and demonstrate value to payers and institutions.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD or equivalent with 5+ years in HEOR or Market Access, and has extensive HTA knowledge

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent combination of education and experience with Pharmacy or clinical as domain knowledge.
• 5+ years prior experience in HEOR or Market Access in biopharmaceutical industry.
• Thorough understanding of Health Technology Assessment at a global level.
• Understanding of global market access landscape and US healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of drug development and commercialization process.
• Working knowledge of AI tools and ability to apply AI for literature review and content generation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global HEOR strategy to support launch and reimbursement.
• Ensure payer-relevant endpoints and evidence generation across product lifecycle.
• Lead collaborations with R&D, Medical, Market Access, and Regulatory to maximize evidence generation.
• Monitor global market access issues and plan value evidence strategies.
• Represent HEOR in cross-functional teams and convey strategic insights.
