Job summary

IBA, a global leader in cancer care technology, seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair IBA systems worldwide. The role is home-based with substantial time at customer sites and occasional international travel to support teams abroad.

The candidate will train users, generate detailed reports, and collaborate with R&D to implement improvements, contributing to lifesaving solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of electronics.
• Understanding of High Vacuum and RF systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair IBA systems at customer sites.
• Train customers to use equipment safely.
• Generate reports with the required detail level.
• Propose system improvements and work with R&D to implement changes.
• Home-based role with 50% time on customer sites; on-site tasks include installation/commissioning and maintenance; occasional travel for emergencies.
