Job summary

SIG is seeking a Global Field Service Engineer to deliver advanced technical expertise for SIG filling lines and packaging systems at customer sites worldwide. You will collaborate with Service Teams and other groups across regions, driving improvements and successfully implementing new technologies.

You will install, commission, calibrate and maintain equipment, perform FAT/SAT, diagnose complex issues and provide on-site and remote support. Travel internationally is frequent.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent with hands-on industrial equipment experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
• Experience with installation, commissioning and preventive maintenance.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate and parameterize filling line equipment at customer sites.
• Perform FAT/SAT and document activities.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automation issues.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support and guidance.
• Coordinate with field technicians and subcontractors on international projects.
• Prepare technical reports and service documentation.
• Share feedback to support continuous improvement.
