SAMY is seeking a Global ESG Director to embed ESG across our operations and position SAMY as a leading responsible business in marketing and communications. You will work with the Chief People Officer and executives to translate commitments into measurable impact across people, operations and communities.

You will own ESG governance, reporting and cross‑functional programmes, run materiality assessments, develop decarbonisation roadmaps, and strengthen our employer and client propositions

Formación

• 7+ years' experience in ESG, Sustainability or Responsible Business, ideally in consulting or fast-paced scale-ups.
• Strong knowledge of ESG governance, reporting, regulatory frameworks, ratings and audits.
• Experience leading employee engagement and culture initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
• Data-driven with ability to analyse ESG and People metrics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally (1–2 weeks every 2–3 months).

Responsabilidades

• Drive the execution and evolution of SAMY's global ESG strategy across the organisation.
• Own employee engagement and culture initiatives, embedding SAMY's values.
• Partner with executives to strengthen engagement, wellbeing, productivity and retention; support acquisitions integration.
• Lead global ESG programmes including OWN IT, Mentoring, Parenthood at SAMY, volunteering and ESG Ambassador Network.
• Own ESG governance, reporting, and compliance; coordinate data, audits and disclosures for stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional ESG initiatives across People, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Operations; monitor ESG KPIs.
• Manage relationships with ESG rating agencies and frameworks; coordinate materiality assessments and due diligence.
• Develop and maintain ESG policies covering sustainability, climate, human rights, ethics and responsible business.
• Partner with People, Talent, Marketing to strengthen Employer Value Proposition and ESG storytelling.
• Represent SAMY in ESG forums and industry initiatives to boost reputation and influence.
