SAMY is seeking an Operational Manager in Madrid to review and optimize processes, integrate innovative strategies, and drive efficiency for a key client. You will lead cross-functional teams, centralize knowledge, and implement new KPIs and methodologies to ensure operational excellence in Social Advocacy.

Reporting to the Account Director, you will collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and clients, and contribute to growth opportunities, strategy integration, and innovative projects

Formación

• Experience in large account management and cross-functional leadership.
• Proven ability to optimize workflows and implement innovative methodologies.
• Solid understanding of Social Advocacy, Influencer Marketing and Social Commerce.
• Strong analytical and adaptability skills.
• Excellent team management and organizational abilities.
• Native Spanish and professional English proficiency.

• Stay updated on industry trends to bring fresh perspectives.

Role Mission

As an Operational Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing processes by implementing innovative strategies to improve efficiency for one of our most important clients. Reporting to the Account Director, and acting as the main point of contact for the different internal teams, this role will centralize knowledge, implement innovative strategies, and explore new KPIs and methodologies to ensure operational excellence. You will play a critical role in integrating new work methods, fostering collaboration, and advancing innovation across Social Advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize processes and drive operational excellence by analyzing workflows, improving SOPs, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and integrating new creator types, platforms, and content formats across Social, Influencer Marketing, and Social Commerce.
• Develop data-driven performance frameworks by analyzing operational data, creating KPIs, maintaining documentation, and providing insights to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Drive innovation strategies across Social Advocacy by implementing new performance models, identifying emerging opportunities, and collaborating on initiatives that increase influence, share of voice, and commercial impact.
• Manage cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment by partnering with internal teams, agencies, clients, and external platforms to ensure seamless execution of innovation projects.
• Support the Account Director in identifying growth opportunities and developing action plans for the account.
• Integrate strategy and creativity with cross-functional teams across the Group's brands.
• Lead and get involved in special projects, delivering innovation in processes and tools to make the team more efficient.
• Lead team development and operational capability building by training teams on new methodologies, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends across Social, Influencer Marketing, and Social Commerce, bringing fresh perspectives and best practices into the account.

Skills & experience

• Previous experience in large account management and multidisciplinary team management.
• Proven experience in optimizing workflows and implementing innovative methodologies.
• Solid understanding of Social Advocacy as a discipline (Social, Influencer Marketing, and Social Commerce).
• High adaptability and strong analytical skills.
• Exceptional team management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Languages: Native Spanish, English full working proficiency (verbal and written).
