SAMY is seeking a Financial Control Analyst to partner with the Global Controller and strengthen our global finance function. You will support closing, reporting, internal controls, and standardisation across multiple international entities.

You will help build scalable processes that ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence while collaborating with cross-country finance teams in a dynamic, social-first environment.

Formación

• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting or external audit.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAPs and multi-entity reporting.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP and finance systems.
• Experience working in international organisations across countries.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Role Mission

As Financial Control Analyst, you will partner with the Global Controller to strengthen SAMY's global finance function by supporting financial closing, reporting, internal controls, and accounting standardisation across multiple international entities. You will help build scalable financial processes that enable the company's continued global growth while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Closing & Reporting

• Support the monthly close process across multiple entities and jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant local GAAPs.
• Coordinate with local finance teams to drive alignment with group accounting standards.

Internal Controls & Standardisation

• Support the development and maintenance of group accounting policies and close procedures.
• Contribute to the strengthening of the global internal control framework.
• Drive standardisation of processes, templates, and documentation across markets.
• Promote a controllership culture across the organisation.

Systems & Data Governance

• Assist in the functional oversight of group finance systems, including NetSuite.
• Help ensure consistency of chart of accounts, entity structures, and financial data integrity.
• Support data quality reviews and timely remediation of issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting workflows and reporting structures.

Audit & Compliance Support

• Assist in coordinating external audit processes, including planning and documentation.
• Help identify financial risks, inconsistencies, or control gaps and support remediation plans.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Accounting or External Audit, ideally combining Big Four and multinational corporate experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close processes, and balance sheet reconciliations in complex, multi-entity environments.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP and confidence working with finance systems, master data and reporting structures.
• Solid understanding of intercompany accounting, multi-entity consolidations, IFRS and group accounting policies.
• Experience working within international organisations, collaborating with finance teams across multiple countries and cultures.
• Demonstrated ability to design, standardise and improve financial processes, internal controls and accounting policies at group level.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail, capable of identifying risks, inconsistencies and opportunities for process improvement.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across global finance teams.
