Castillo Hotel Son Vida, a luxury property within The Luxury Collection and part of Arabella Hospitality, seeks a General Manager to lead operations, guest experiences and strategic direction.

The GM will oversee leadership, financial performance and the development of teams, while upholding Marriott standards and preserving the property's character and heritage in Mallorca’s luxury market.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management to enhance market position.
• Champion talent development, succession planning and associate engagement.

Arabella Hospitality is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead Castillo Hotel Son Vida through its next chapter, preserving the character and heritage of the property while continuing to strengthen its position within Mallorca’s luxury hospitality market.

The role

The General Manager holds overall responsibility for the leadership, performance and strategic direction of Castillo Hotel Son Vida.

The position combines strong operational leadership with commercial and financial responsibility, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, sustainable business performance and the continued development of the hotel and its teams.

As the senior leader of the property, the General Manager plays a key role in representing the hotel, The Luxury Collection and Arabella Hospitality, building strong relationships with guests, associates, business partners and relevant stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the hotel.
• Drive operational, financial and commercial performance, ensuring achievement of budgeted results and long-term business objectives.
• Lead, develop and support the Executive Committee and department heads, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.
• Ensure an exceptional and highly personalised guest experience consistent with The Luxury Collection positioning and Marriott International standards.
• Maintain a visible presence within the operation, building strong relationships with guests and associates.
• Develop and execute the annual business plan, budget and forecasts in collaboration with the relevant teams.
• Monitor financial and operational performance, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management to strengthen the hotel's market positioning and commercial performance.
• Champion talent development, succession planning, associate engagement and retention.
• Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, Arabella Hospitality policies and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, institutions and relevant stakeholders.
• Build and maintain a close, transparent and collaborative relationship with hotel ownership, ensuring regular communication and alignment on business performance, strategic priorities and the development of the property.
• Work closely with the Area Commercial organization, ensuring strong alignment between the hotel’s strategy and wider Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management initiatives.
• Protect and enhance the reputation, positioning and long-term value of Castillo Hotel Son Vida.
