Job summary

Apex Group in Valencia seeks a Central Administration and Oversight Officer to oversee fund administration activities, monitor NAV production, and ensure regulatory compliance within a dynamic international environment.

You will work closely with internal teams and external providers, performing controls, risk escalation, and reporting to support high-quality services across our funds platform.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Accounting/Finance/Economics or comparable studies.
• Ideally first professional experience in fund accounting, depositary services or audit.
• Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD and Fund regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform controls on the NAV production process, via review of KPI data and NAV figures, provided by the Fund Administrator.
• Investigate and escalate potential risks where identified.
• Day to day plausibility controls of accounting of investment funds based on Lux-GAAP & IFRS, incl. NAV calculation, fee and distribution controls.
• Frequent controls on funds budget, plausibilisation of invoices and the Total Expense Ratio (TER).
• Perform frequent assessments on late trading / market timing, materiality thresholds and performance fees for regulatory compliance.
• Anticipate potential risk and impact on the NAV calculation, elevate issues and contribute to resolution of problems.
• Reviewing and preparing various internal and external reports and documents.
• Report to management on operational risk assessment.
• Maintain regular service calls and follow-up with service providers regarding issues until resolution.
• Assist in developing measures to restructure and align Management Company services to meet future client, regulatory and business needs.
• Achieve high quality in all services provided to clients.
