Job summary

FundRock is seeking a Central Administration & Oversight Officer in Valencia to oversee fund administration activities, monitor NAV production, and ensure regulatory and operational compliance. You will collaborate with internal teams and service providers to conduct controls and escalate risks as needed.

The role emphasizes oversight of NAV calculation, TER, and fee controls, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting within Lux-GAAP & IFRS frameworks. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Accounting/Finance/Economics or comparable studies.
• Ideally first professional experience in fund accounting, depositary services or audit.
• Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD and fund regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, analytical and critical thinking skills with high client orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform controls on the NAV production process via KPI/NAV data review.
• Investigate and escalate potential risks identified in fund administration.
• Oversee accounting – Lux-GAAP/IFRS, NAV calculation, fee and distribution controls.
• Monitor budgets, invoices plausibility and Total Expense Ratio (TER).
• Assess late trading / market timing and performance fees for regulatory compliance.
• Escalate issues affecting net asset value and support resolution.
• Prepare internal and external reports and management on operational risk.
