UST España Latam in Madrid is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Engineer with strong Python backend and React frontend experience to build end-to-end AI-driven web applications.

The role is hybrid, based in Madrid city center (Sol). 3 days a week in the office. English is mandatory; Spanish desirable. You will collaborate with product and UX teams, design scalable APIs, and contribute to CI/CD and automated testing.

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, ideally in AI-related projects.
• Strong backend development with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Solid frontend experience with React and responsive UI.
• Good knowledge of API design and data workflows; experience with relational databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Strong software design principles: scalability, maintainability, security.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in Python backend development and React frontend development, capable of building end-to-end, AI-driven web applications.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, works comfortably across the full stack, and collaborates closely with product and UX teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

Location

Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

Language

English is a must. Spanish desirable.

Main Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in AI-related projects
• Strong backend development skills in Python using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Solid experience building modern, responsive frontends with React (component-based architecture, state management, responsive UI)
• Good knowledge of API design (RESTful and/or GraphQL) and integration between frontend, backend, and databases
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data workflows
• Experience integrating and optimizing API endpoints and data pipelines
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and code review practices
• Strong understanding of software design principles: scalability, modularity, maintainability, and security
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills across the full stack
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Strong soft skills: autonomy, attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Continuous learning mindset, especially in AI and machine learning technologies

Work schedule

Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
