ERNI is seeking a Software Engineer to join our expert team, focusing on a software platform for industrial automation. You will apply your React skills and software design expertise to build high-quality, responsive features as part of a global development team.

As a senior profile, you will have room to grow, influence project decisions, and mentor others, with a hybrid working model and regular reviews to support your career plan.

Formación

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge and professional experience with React.
• Experience applying design patterns and designing desktop applications.
• Strong focus on code quality with experience conducting code reviews and Unit Tests.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or another relevant discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Transforming requirements into software specifications and translating them into Features and User Stories.
• Designing and implementing new functionality while participating in code and design reviews.
• Working closely with stakeholders and multidisciplinary engineering teams to continuously improve the product.
• Identifying bottlenecks and bugs while ensuring software performance, quality and responsiveness.

You will apply your knowledge of React, software design and engineering best practices to build high-quality and responsive functionality as part of a global development team.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What you will bring

Our model is hybrid

We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor’s appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
