1000heads is seeking a Freelance Community Manager based in Spain to join our Community team supporting a global technology client. The role runs from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027 at about 50% capacity, with potential for additional hours as the project evolves.

You will own Spanish-language channels, craft social content, moderate discussions, and collaborate with EU teams to plan campaigns and drive engagement in the Spanish market.

Formación

• Native or fluent Spanish speaker with fluent English.
• Based in Spain, Madrid or Barcelona preferred.
• Experience in B2B and B2C communications strategy is a strong advantage.
• Experience in technology sector or with an OEM partner ecosystem is a plus.
• Strong understanding of social media and the Spanish landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you should speak the language of the internet.
• Creative content mindset and ability to adapt content to social formats.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Acting as channel owner for the brand's Spanish-language social channels, staying aware of and involved in all related channel activity
• Creative copywriting which flexes for all things social and then seeing that content through to its live home, through publishing across social channels
• Moderation with escalation experience; reviewing queries and escalating to Client Services when needed
• Collaborating with the EU 1000heads Community team and other regional teams on content and campaign planning
• Stimulating and sustaining conversations with a brand's audience through social community management in the Spanish market
• Managing the day-to-day delivery of editorial calendars and creative campaigns
• Liaising with local market partners in Spain to support planning, publishing and activation
• Working with our creative studio to brief on engaging content for organic activations
• Building relationships with clients, including the lead client based in Spain, and identifying business development opportunities
• Offering strategic thinking, creative spark, and commercial understanding to develop plans
• Researching latest social tools and trends to stay innovative
• Delivering reports, performance tracking and trend analysis for clients
• Remaining culturally attuned and challenging the team and clients with new opportunities
• Feeding into campaign planning and responses in a strategic activation capacity
