JD.com is seeking a proactive Category Manager to lead end-to-end category strategies in the FMCG space for the Madrid market. You will manage assortment, pricing, supplier relations, and promotions while collaborating with Cross-Functional teams to drive growth and local relevance.

Ideal candidates bring experience in category management, strong analytics, and the ability to build durable supplier partnerships in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Competenze

• Experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising or Procurement within FMCG.
• Strong understanding of customers, market dynamics, assortment and commercial principles.
• Experience in supplier management and building commercial partnerships.
• Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making.

Mansioni

• Manage end-to-end category management processes: assortment, pricing, supplier management, inventory and promotions.
• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with national, regional and local suppliers.
• Analyze category performance, demand, trends and gaps to identify growth opportunities.
• Build and optimise product assortment to meet local customer needs.
• Monitor inventory levels for stock availability and efficiency.
• Develop and execute category sales strategies, including pricing and promotions.
• Create long-term category strategies tailored to local market needs.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations and Product teams.
