SAMY in Madrid is seeking a Senior FP&A professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the agency. You will partner with local and regional finance teams to deliver timely insights that shape strategic decisions and optimize resources.

The role involves building and improving financial models, preparing management reports, supporting ERP implementations, and driving process improvements with BI tools.

Formación

• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• 5-7 years of FP&A, financial planning, or related corporate finance experience.
• Experience in advertising, digital marketing, or media industries (or multi-entity/matrix structure).
• Prior experience in consulting or Big Four is a plus.

• Support ERP and FP&A tool implementations (TLO, NetSuite, Abacum).
• Identify process improvements and enhance data quality with BI tools.
• Support M&A analyses, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.

Role Mission

As Senior FP&A, you are responsible for providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making and business performance. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, partnering with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, optimize resources, and ensure accurate financial planning across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Co-lead end-to-end planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles - delivering timely, accurate financial insights to the Management Team.
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve financial models covering revenue, cost, and profitability at client, project/campaign, and agency/entity level.
• Partner with Local/Regional finance team, and business unit leaders, providing financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare management reporting packages, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
• Take an active role in the implementation of new ERP and FP&A planning systems (TLO, NetSuite, Abacum), supporting process standardization and automation.
• Identify and drive process improvement opportunities, leveraging BI tools to strengthen reporting efficiency and data quality.
• Support M&A-related financial analysis, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration as SAMY continues to grow and consolidate new entities.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of financial data across entities within a matrixed organizational structure.

Skills & experience

Required:

• 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, or a related corporate finance role.
• Experience in the advertising, digital marketing, or media industry, or solid corporate experience within a multi-entity / matrix organizational structure (required).
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.

Preferred:

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree or professional certification such as CFA or CIMA.
• Prior experience in consulting or a Big Four firm.
• Exposure to PE-backed companies or investor reporting environments.
