Job summary

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Mallorca seeks a Finance & Purchasing Trainee for an approximate 6-month internship, supporting the administrative and accounting processes related to suppliers, invoices and purchasing operations.

This role offers exposure to the full purchasing and invoicing cycle, from order receipt and goods verification to invoice validation and accounting, with a proactive, organized candidate who wants to develop their knowledge in Finance, Purchasing and Hospitality

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with numbers, invoices and administrative documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Interest in gaining a broader understanding of Finance and Purchasing operations within Hospitality.
• Availability for an approximately 6-month internship/trainee placement.

Responsibilities

• Manage, file and verify delivery notes (albaranes).
• Reconcile delivery notes with invoices for accuracy.
• Review invoices against terms and supplier quotes.
• Process invoices and supporting documents, resolving discrepancies.
• Follow up with suppliers on discrepancies including price or quantity issues.
• Assist with coding and posting of invoices in accounting system.
• Maintain documentation for suppliers and invoices.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Storeroom to verify orders and delivery notes.
