Job summary

Bayer AG in Spain is offering a Finance Management Junior position in Product Supply. The program combines finance, data science and IT to build end-to-end understanding of how value is created in a manufacturing environment.

You will spend ~50% of time in Product Supply Finance with rotations into Commercial and Digital Finance, gaining hands-on experience with AI and analytics.

Qualifications

• Work with Bills of Materials (BOMs) to understand product costing and value drivers.

Finance Management Junior (Hybrid Finance × Data × Business) – Product Supply

In our 1.5–2 year Finance Management Trainee program, you will be based at one of our production facilities, close to our products and operations. Your home assignment sits in Product Supply Finance, complemented by ~50% rotations across Commercial Finance, Digital Finance and key stakeholders. This ensures you gain a true end‑to‑end understanding of how value is created, steered and transformed through data and technology.

This is not a traditional finance traineeship. It is on‑the‑job learning by design: you will apply newly acquired knowledge immediately, work on real business questions, and actively experiment with AI, analytics and emerging technologies in a manufacturing environment.

What you’ll do (your playground)

In Product Supply Finance, you will learn how a production facility operates and how shop‑floor reality is translated into financial insights that steer decisions.

• Partner closely with experienced Finance Business Partners on site, learning manufacturing finance hands‑on

Your 1.5–2 year journey

• ~50% Product Supply Finance (home base at the production site) Build strong fundamentals in manufacturing and supply finance, staying close to our products and operations.
• ~50% Rotations (Commercial Finance, Digital Finance & stakeholders) Broaden your perspective across the business, understanding how commercial decisions, digital solutions and finance jointly drive performance.

Who you are

• A degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
• Strong curiosity, learning agility and a proactive mindset
• A clear affinity with data, systems and digital solutions
• Enthusiasm for experimenting with AI and new technologies
• A genuine interest in manufacturing, production environments and FMCG operations
• Confidence to ask questions, challenge the status quo and roll up your sleeves
