Bayer in Spain is launching a Finance Management Junior trainee program (Hybrid Finance × Data × Business) in Product Supply. You’ll split time between production site finance and rotations across Commercial and Digital Finance to gain end‑to‑end business insight.

Ideal candidates are graduates with up to 3 years of experience, fluent in English, data curious and eager to apply AI and analytics in a manufacturing FMCG context. This program blends earning with real-world impact.

In our 1.5–2 year Finance Management Trainee program, you will be based at one of our production facilities, close to our products and operations. Your home assignment sits in Product Supply Finance, complemented by :50% rotations across Commercial Finance, Digital Finance and key stakeholders. This ensures you gain a true end‑to‑end understanding of how value is created, steered and transformed through data and technology.

This is not a traditional finance traineeship. It is on‑the‑job learning by design: you will apply newly acquired knowledge immediately, work on real business questions, and actively experiment with AI, analytics and emerging technologies in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do (your Playground)

In Product Supply Finance, you will learn how a production facility operates and how shop‑floor reality is translated into financial insights that steer decisions.

• Partner closely with experienced Finance Business Partners on site, learning manufacturing finance hands‑on
• Translate production processes into numbers, connecting operational drivers to P&L, working capital and performance
• Actively identify opportunities for automation, analytics, self‑service reporting and AI‑enabled insights in day‑to‑day finance work
• Work with Bills of Materials (BOMs) to understand product costing and value drivers
• Collaborate on periodic reporting, planning and forecasting, together with central reporting and analytics partners
• Present financial results to site and stakeholder management, learning how to tell the story behind the numbers
• Support continuous improvement initiatives where finance, operations and efficiency come together

Your 1.5–2 year journey

:50% Product Supply Finance (home base at the production site)

Build strong fundamentals in manufacturing and supply finance, staying close to our products and operations.

:50% Rotations (Commercial Finance, Digital Finance & stakeholders)

Broaden your perspective across the business, understanding how commercial decisions, digital solutions and finance jointly drive performance.

Who You Are

We’re looking for graduates with up to 3 years of work experience who want to become hybrid professionals at the crossroads of Finance, Data and IT.

• A degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
• Strong curiosity, learning agility and a proactive mindset
• A clear affinity with data, systems and digital solutions
• Enthusiasm for experimenting with AI and new technologies
• A genuine interest in manufacturing, production environments and FMCG operations
• Confidence to ask questions, challenge the status quo and roll up your sleeves
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
• English is a must and preferably 1 or more other language(s)
