Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Trainee to join the Biopharma Manufacturing Controlling team. You will provide financial business support to management, analyze results and variances, and assist in product costing for Biopharma BU.

This internship offers exposure to SAP month-end actual costing and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment. We look for a 6-8 month commitment, a degree in Economics/Business Administration or Engineering, strong English (CAE), and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration or industrial engineering.
• 6-8 months internship availability.
• Previous experience in controlling departments is highly valued.
• Excellent verbal and written English (CAE).
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support to management and analyze actual results vs. plan.
• Assist in product costing for Biopharma BU.
• Contribute to month-end Actual Costing in SAP, validate results, and report drivers.
• Support audits and maintain SOX controls.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects and maintain Controlling Master Data.

Within the Biopharma Manufacturing Controlling area, we are looking for a Trainee to join our team.

What your responsibilities will be

• You will provide financial business support to the company’s management and work closely with the Plant Controllers in order to analyze the actual results and variances compared to the business plan.
• You will help on product costing for Biopharma BU.
• You will be part of the controller leading the company’s Actual Costing month-end closing process in SAP, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of results through detailed validation and analysis. You will help to identify and explain key drivers and variances, challenge unexpected outcomes, and communicate findings through clear and insightful reporting to support business decision-making.
• Support the department during internal and external audits and maintain necessary controls to ensure SOX compliance.
• You will collaborate in corporate projects to improve the business performance (new IT tools, “best practices” projects among the manufacturing plants worldwide, support in new acquisitions).
• You will assist in maintaining the controlling Master Data.

• You are holding a Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Economics / Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar fields.
• You are available for at least 6-8 months internship.
• Previous experience in controlling departments is highly valuated.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language (CAE qualified).
• You have computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• You must be proactive, results oriented, and have strong attention to detail.
• You are initiative-driven, dynamic and with a strong desire to learn.
