Geotab is seeking a Field Service Technical Specialist to support customers, installers, product teams, and field service initiatives through technical expertise and innovative solutions.

You will provide technical support for installations, testing, and audits, coordinating with product, R&D, sales, and field services to ensure high-quality Geotab implementations. The role requires travel up to 40% and offers a flexible hybrid work environment.

Formación

• Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in Telematics or Automotive installation field service.
• Experience with OBD and CAN communications, SAE vehicle standards, and serial data interfaces.
• Experience with hardware and software integration.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive electronic components.
• Experience managing third-party contractor relationships.
• Proficiency with automotive/electronics test equipment and hand tools.
• Knowledge of cellular, GPS, and serial data communications.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 40%.

Responsabilidades

• Support product development, customer implementations, installation partners, pilot programs, and field service quality.
• Provide technical support for product design, installations, testing, troubleshooting, installer certification, audits, documentation, and strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with Product, R&D, Sales, Field Services, Learning and Development, customers, resellers, and installation partners to ensure Geotab solutions are designed, installed, and supported effectively.
• Be organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and translate technical concepts into actionable plans.
