TOMRA Food is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, operate and maintain our advanced sorting systems across Spain and Portugal, with a primary base in or around Madrid. The role combines hands-on engineering with proactive customer service and ongoing optimization of equipment in food processing environments.

You will diagnose issues, train customers, perform maintenance, and travel up to 80% (primarily within Spain) with some international trips.

Formación

• Technical education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• 3–5 years field service, industrial maintenance or technical customer support.
• Knowledge of analog/digital circuits, power supplies and PLCs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field service activities: installation, commissioning, operation, testing, optimization, maintenance and repair of TOMRA equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, electronic and optical adjustments and configurations.
• Provide customer training on operation and maintenance of TOMRA systems.
• Deliver technical support and guidance to maximize operational performance and reduce food waste.
• Prepare accurate service reports and collaborate with internal teams for excellent support.
• Travel as required; represent TOMRA as an ambassador of innovation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TOMRA technology and contribute to continuous improvement.
