Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to accelerate growth of Perten and Delta laboratory instrumentation for the food industry. This field-based role focuses on Southern Spain, hunting for new customers and nurturing existing accounts, with travel up to 50% and a driver’s license required.

The role involves territory management, distributor relationships, seminars, and maintaining a healthy sales funnel to meet territory quotas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or related field.
• 3+ years of sales experience.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to carry and deliver a sales quota over $2M annually.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships at a high level within large strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong technical knowledge of the portfolio serving food markets.
• Develop, implement, and execute a strategic business plan to grow revenue in food testing capital equipment in the assigned territory.
• Manage territory including prospecting, establishing, and maintaining relationships with food processors and food testing accounts, and closing deals.
• Establish and manage local distributors and dealers.
• Conduct seminars and presentations.
• Maintain a healthy funnel of opportunities with accurate forecasts and convert to revenue to meet quotas.
• Travel up to 50% with a valid driver's license.
