Mermec Spain is seeking a Service Account Engineer and Field Operations Coordinator to drive operations and maintenance for our projects across Spain. The role combines hands-on field work with team leadership in a startup-like environment, coordinating technicians and subcontractors from the front.

Based in Madrid with up to 30% travel, you will train and coordinate the Italian service team, manage customer relationships, and ensure delivery against KPIs while supporting profitability.

Formación

• 6+ years in similar roles in electronics, automotive, railway or oil & gas.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English required.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel up to 30% within the country; based in Madrid.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve targets and meet contract deadlines.
• Coordinate and schedule the field team and on-site activities.
• Plan and monitor all contract execution activities.
• Interact with the Italian team during warranty and commissioning.
• Serve as on-site customer contact throughout the project.
• Provide technical advisory support to customers.
• Manage field spare parts and tools with the team.
• Suggest product and process improvements; support training and development.
• Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement.
