MERMEC is seeking a Service Account Engineer and Field Operations Coordinator to drive operations and maintenance KPIs for projects in Spain. The role blends hands-on work in a startup-like environment with leadership of a new team, coordinating employees and subcontractors.

You will work with the Italian team for training and coordination, travel up to 30% within the country, and be based in Madrid. A strong technical background and bilingual Spanish/English are required.

Formación

• Strong technical background in Electronics, CS, IT, or Mechanical Eng.
• At least 6 years in similar roles in electronics, automotive, railway, or oil & gas.
• Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Organized, goal-oriented, reliable, and capable under pressure.
• Willing to learn Mermec systems and processes.
• Customer-focused with profitability in mind.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve targets and meet contract deadlines.
• Coordinate and schedule the team and on-site activities.
• Plan and monitor tasks for contract execution.
• Interact with the Italian team during warranty and commissioning.
• Act as on-site customer contact throughout the project.
• Provide technical advisory support to customers.
• Manage field spare parts and tools with the team.
• Suggest product/process improvements with a 360-view.
• Support team training and development.
• Monitor team performance.
