Amazon is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Controls Field Engineer to own complex controls issues for data centers and critical facilities. You will diagnose failures, standardize controls logic, and develop retrofit designs for scalable deployment.

You will lead root-cause analyses, create reusable templates, and support field pilots across regions, often traveling to operating facilities in support of investigations and deployments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Computer Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of controls experience.
• 2+ years hands-on with BMS/EPMS/PLC/SCADA or similar industrial/building automation.
• Experience developing or reviewing Sequences of Operations, logic, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting controls systems with root-cause analysis using trend data and logs.
• Strong written and verbal communication of complex technical findings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead post-event analysis for controls issues and document findings.
• Develop scalable corrective actions and performance metrics for reliability.
• Create and maintain control logic templates and Sequences of Operations.
• Coordinate retrofit designs and field validation across facilities.
• Own lifecycle for pilot projects and deployment planning.
• Provide field-facing engineering support for proprietary and third-party controls.
