Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L.U. is seeking a Controls Engineer to help keep our data centers running safely and reliably.

You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the building management (BMS) and electrical power monitoring (EPMS) systems that govern critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure in our facilities. You will plan preventive and corrective maintenance, manage improvement projects, and collaborate with operations teams and vendors to deliver reliable operations while

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in data centers or other critical environments.
• Experience with MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BMS and EPMS systems, adjusting work plans based on equipment conditions and risk assessments to maintain safe, reliable data center operations.
• Manage the scope, schedule, and execution of controls improvement projects, including developing the sequence of operations (SOO), modifying controls logic programming, and commissioning new systems during data center builds.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical control issues across generators, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, and related infrastructure, escalating abnormal conditions when necessary and acting as an escalation point during incidents.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, design teams, and external vendors to review maintenance outcomes, align on project deliverables, and ensure all work complies with applicable codes and standards.
• Contribute to process improvements and provide hands-on training to less-experienced team members on equipment operation, BMS/EPMS configuration, and technical best practices.
