Fortive is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer to support Fluke Industrial Products in Spain. You will be the technical go-to expert for the selected products, enabling the local sales team to drive growth and delivering pre- and post-sales support to distributors and end customers.

Responsibilities include product demonstrations, training and presentations, CRM activity, and collaboration with regional teams on NPIs and marketing ideas.

Formación

• Strong proven technical product and application knowledge.
• Able to present and demonstrate measurement solutions to end users.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese/Italian valued.

Responsabilidades

• Support the local sales team and customers with application, technical and competitive information.
• Provide Pre & Post sales technical support to field sales team, distribution channels and end users.
• Develop technical skills through training and liaising with factory-based technical support engineers.
• Provide sales support at shows, conferences, seminars and roadshows; deliver presentations and product demonstrations on-site and online.
• Develop training programs for online and classroom delivery.
• Record customer communications in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and track opportunities.
• Assist EMEA sales and marketing with NPIs and regional marketing ideas.
• Work with EMEA team and Sales Program Managers to support regional activities.
• Provide technical assistance to Inside Sales team.

This role is for an experienced Field Application Engineer with technical knowledge of Fluke Industrial Products and the applications these products are used in. The Field Application Engineer will enable the local sales team to drive growth for the selected Fluke products in the region. They will be the technical go-to expert for the selected products and will provide pre-and post-sales technical support for distributors, end-customers and the local sales teams.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the local sales team and customers with application, technical and competitive information
• Provide Pre & Post sales technical support to our field sales team, distribution channels and end users
• Develop technical skills through training provided by product experts, self-learning on the job and liaising with factory-based technical support engineers
• Provide sales support at shows, conferences, seminars and roadshows; be able to prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations virtually and on-site
• Develop training programs for both online and classroom delivery
• Work with Fluke’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics Software) to record customer communications and track opportunities
• Assist EMEA sales and marketing team with New Product Introductions (NPIs)
• Work with EMEA team and Sales Program Managers to develop ideas for regional marketing activities
• Provide technical assistance to Inside Sales team

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong proven technical product and application knowledge preferably on the Fluke Products or with Industrial Test and Measurement products
• Able to present and demonstrate measurement solutions to end users
• Able to communicate and motivate via different media platforms.
• Understands the principles of sales and solutions selling.
• Build relationship with key customers based on technical knowledge.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• A high level of independence and ability to “self-educate”.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Knowledge of additional languages ( Portuguese, Italian) is highly valued.
