Job summary

Siemens Energy in Madrid is seeking a Factory Controller to drive financial transparency and manufacturing cost optimization. You will lead monthly closings, prepare reports, and partner with factory management to improve costing and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in financial controlling in manufacturing, fluent English, SAP CO/FI, Excel and Power BI skills, and strong cross-functional collaboration. German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in financial controlling in factory/manufacturing environments.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
• Strong SAP CO/FI and advanced Microsoft Excel skills as well as Power BI.
• Proven expertise in industrial cost accounting, FP&A, and variance analysis.
• Excellent business partnering skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings with compliance to corporate guidelines.
• Manage and optimize product costing structures and cost-benefit analyses.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and regular financial forecasting cycles.
• Monitor factory overheads, variances, and CAPEX budgets.
• Develop financial models and business cases for capital investments.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to validate productivity and drive cost reductions.
